First Painting of the New Year

It's rare to find good photo references on the internet- at least, pictures taken within a classical art studio lighting setting. So, I was really excited when I stumbled across one randomly one day, and have been saving it for a free weekend. Finally, after moving to a new apartment and setting up my new workspace, I found some free time. I'm extremely proud and happy to start off the new year with this successful painting.
